1st Step Bazaar Peformance this sat!;-

Hello friends!

To all who have performed for the Open House 2009, GOOD JOB! I hope you've all had fun! Now now, there's one more coming up this week's Saturday! Let's all get together and play again! You're welcome to join us regardless if you're in the performance or not!

Wushu will be performing twice.

First round: 11.20am - 11.30am
Second round: 2.20pm - 3.30pm

You guys need to be there by 11am. The bus will leave Ngee Ann Poly's Admin block (near atrium) at 10am and the same bus will pick you guys at 330pm from Kovan back to school. If you're not performing but wants to join us, do let Beat be inform of it! then you can take the bus with us as well! =D

As for those who are interested to perform, do let Jenkiat or Hongming know so that he can make arrangements! =)

Try your best to make it okay? Then we can all play together! =P

How I train for wushu

Cheng Qian here!

I hope u won’t find this post of mine too cocky. My intention is to help u guys who are humble and want to do better in Wushu. I am not very good in Wushu but I truly believe that I am in good position to give some of u tips. If u all dun like can discard em by all means.
For those who do not feel comfortable can stop reading alr.

How to do up a nice taolu:

The answer is practice, a better answer would be lots of practice,

my answer to that question is practice A LOT….. in the easy way.

I understand that a lot of u practice taolus by doing the whole set over and over again. I think this will NOT work, unless u r already very familiar with the taolu (just like how hong ming is, with his spear). SO, I would strongly recommend u to follow Hugang’s method, to do 组合 (small sets/parts of the taolu). Pick one small part and focus on that 3-4 moves. It will work a lot better than doing something wrong over and over again and never improve at all.

How would u know when to stop doing the set:
Every time u do a set, try at least 6 times. I always tell ppl this: “if u got the moves right, you will know/feel it”. Once u hav felt it, means u had enough practice already…. Thereafter, its time to master the moves.

Most importantly…LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR!! If even yourself think your moves are ugly… then the moves MUST be ugly =)

How to do good kicks and flips:

I have repeated this like dunno how many times to dunno how many people….
1 –you definitely need a good level of flexibility
2 – you need to meet ‘that’ physical criteria
U want a solution? Go down to Sino Training every Sunday and u know how and why….

What more can you ask for?

Economically wise, smart finish and topped with elvis's angelic smile!

Equipped with thick thick eyebrow. It acts as highly sensitive detector that can sense anything that's coming in the way! Once the eyebrow twitch, the object that is approaching will be placed on top alert! Protect yourself from enemies with the powerful fierce look! Stare, Glare and give a don't-bully-me look! Well, suppose to be thicker but it is still in puberty!

REDNAMED TAN HONG MING!
Woke up one day and found himself with a super bushy moustache, Hongming smells out hot babes from far. Then he will stroke the moustache like in the photo to sense their location! Definitely a powerful and murderous weapon to have! Helps alot when you're having a bad flu, powerfully absorbs all sorts of runny substance! Useful during nose bleed seasons as well!

But don't be too sad if you don't grow that kinda moustache, this is early puberty!
Wait for 10 more years, you may have a more sexy one! =D
